Guest mode
You can build a pile before you make an account. Here is what is kept, and what happens when you sign up.
Trying the app without an account
As a guest you can add miniatures and move them across the board just like a signed-in painter. There is no account behind it: nothing you add is on our servers, and nothing syncs to another device.
There is a cap on how many units a guest can hold. It is not a paid limit — it is the point at which the app needs somewhere real to keep your collection.
What is kept, and where
Everything you build as a guest lives in this browser, on this device. Clear your browser data and it is gone; open the app on your phone and it will not be there.
Guest units are deliberately simple — a status and a model count. Photos, armies, painting sessions and schemes all need an account, so those screens show a lock rather than opening.
Signing up
When you create an account, everything you built as a guest is imported into it once, on your first sign-in, and then cleared from the browser. You do not have to retype anything.
The import runs once per account, ever. If you sign out first, the guest collection is dropped rather than carried into whoever signs in next on that browser.
Stop keeping the pile in your head
Liber Pigmenta keeps every model you own, every paint on your shelf and every session you have painted in one place — free, and without an account to start.
