Drybrush the ribs and skull Drybrush — Necron Compound across the spine, ribs and cranium, then Runefang Steel on the sharpest edges only.

Gauss flayer

Basecoat the energy channel Basecoat — The barrel channel and the flayer coil, not the whole weapon.
Build the glow outward Layer — Warpstone Glow, then Moot Green kept to the centre of the channel so the edges stay dark.
Hot core and glaze Glaze — A thin line of Gauss Blaster Green down the middle, then a Tesseract Glow glaze over the whole channel.
