Reikland red and cream, the provincial uniform that makes a rank of halberdiers look like an army rather than twenty separate models. Written for batch painting: every step is one colour across the whole regiment.

Uniform — red

  1. Basecoat the red panels Basecoat — Pick the sleeves and one trouser leg. Keeping the same panels red on every model in the unit is what makes the regiment read; which panels you chose matters far less.
  2. Shade the slashes Recess shade
  3. Highlight the puffs Layer

Uniform — cream

  1. Basecoat the cream panels Basecoat — Zandri Dust covers in one coat where an off-white would need three.
  2. Shade the cloth Recess shade
  3. Lift the cream Layer — Karak Stone over most of the panel, then Screaming Skull on the raised slashes alone.

Armour and helmet

  1. Basecoat the steel Basecoat
  2. Shade the plate All-over shade
  3. Highlight the helmet brim Edge highlight

Halberd and leather

  1. Basecoat haft and belts Basecoat
  2. Shade both All-over shade
