Colour schemes

Stormcast Eternals — Annihilators

Intermediate · 4 areas

Heavier plate on the same gold recipe, with lightning arcing off the hammers — the effect is easier than it looks if the blue goes down before the white.

Sigmarite armour

  1. Basecoat the gold Basecoat — Retributor Armour over black. Metallics cover better than they look — two thin coats is enough.
  2. Shade the plates All-over shade — Agrax Earthshade over everything gold. This is what turns a flat yellow metal into armour.
  3. Layer and edge the gold Edge highlight — Liberator Gold across the raised plates, then Stormhost Silver on the sharpest edges only.

Shoulder guard and cloth

  1. Basecoat the blue Basecoat — Kantor Blue on the left shoulder guard — the Hammers of Sigmar marking.
  2. Shade the recesses Recess shade
  3. Highlight the blue Edge highlight — Teclis Blue, then a thin Lothern Blue line on the rim.

Lightning-wreathed hammers

  1. Ground the energy Basecoat — Kantor Blue along the arcs, kept off the hammer head itself.
  2. Build the arc up Layer — Teclis Blue, then Baharroth Blue, each narrower than the last.
  3. Strike the white core Detail — A fine White Scar line down the centre of each arc. The white is what makes it read as lightning.
